if youre converting surfaces to parts, i wouldn't cut the geometry this early. It creates a bit of a problem later when creating cross sections.

not at all. random updates are their just to show i'm still working on it. recent school assignments and work have limited my time.
catia wise: I got more from youtube than my class. this method applies to all the windows and the cockpit as well.
