wakesurfing would be an excellent tool for learning how to surf and doing tricks...although actual surfing involves so much more like, paddling, reading the waves, meteorology , topography, etc.

One cannot simply compare the art of wake surfing to the art of wake boarding.

Wake surfing is so relaxing while wake boarding is just flat out intense.

@MrJockstrap3 I never said you couldnt, but if you want to get better you should definitely ride behind a wakeboard boat. Bigger wake and the boats have a different shaped Hull on the bottom that produce the smooth ramp shaped wake. But i dont think ive seen anyone surf behind anything other than a wakeboard boat.

@wex898 nope, the propeller is under the center back of the boat therefor its 99% impossible to reach the propeller from behind the boat when its in motion.

@mf2kdrbombay You can wake board on an outboard motor. There not actually just for wakeboarding. its just a different type of motor.

@wex898 Wakeboard boats have what is called an INBOARD MOTOR. The prop is way under the boat so there is no chance of you hitting it unless you get run over or you swim under it.
