Au contraire mon fraire ....... Vonn's World Cup results over the past year indicate that she is as good or better than both Dorfmeister and Kostelic.

Secondly, Vonn's is much more popular in Europe than she is in the USA.

So it her race results, and European ski fans that rate her highly - not necessarily flag waving Americans. Most Americans just jumped on the bandwagon during the Olympics.

Well I got to briefly shake her hand and wish her good luck - she was really nice but I don't think I made much of an impression on her :-) I agree with you - no one should care because all these girls train very hard to be the best athlete they can - and if they do fib about their their weight it's definitely because of all the jerks that feel the need to point it out and make hurtful comments. Bottom line is that she's a nice looking girl, she's in great shape, and carries her weight well.
