  • Damn, that is a teenagers dream first car... I cant beleve someone wanted to get rid of it

  • The guy who traded this car in should be taken out into the street and shot! I'll bet he traded it for some imported car. The cash for clunkers program should have required you to buy an American car since the point was to help the American economy. How'd that work out? Oh yeah, it didn't!

  • @pavlos999 Yeah... I can see a pretty big environmental hazard from all the smoke pouring out of the engine while its being seized with sodium silicate, environmentally friendly way to dispose of a car? Dreaming. Sports cars generally cover less miles than plastic subcompact shopping carts, so you'll probably find the trade in isn't too much better at saving our precious planet than this classic 'weekend' banger. And will a modern econobox last 25 years? Nope, it'll be landfill in 10.

  • You have to remember,Cash for clunkers gave out what? $3500-$4000 for trade ins? I know most will hand out $3500 easily for this ride if it was near me for sale but like others have said the people buying these are pretty much teenagers or young adults. They aren't even looking to spend that much and are gonna haggle the owner to death to lower the price. This guy got the money no questions asked and quick. You gotta see it from their eyes. Still very sad but I own three thirdgens atm so eh.

  • if i were you i would have claimed that this car was "stolen" sad to know this went to a crusher for a bitch car

  • Such a beautiful machine. Could of been nice with some TLC.

  • hahahaahahahaahaa

  • And people wonder what happen to old classic cars 20 years from now. :(

  • Not the greatest car ever, but sure deserved better than to be utterly destroyed.

  • Good thing cash for clunkers got that car it was an environmental hazard!!!! Did you see how much smoke was coming off the tires!!! I'm sure the new subcompact they traded it in on won't have that problem...

  • fucking bullshit.

  • i would've taken dat firebird in a heartbeat. a needy person can only dream to own a car like that!
