@wikieditspam I'm sure maybe a handful of people honesty bought as many guns as they could that day because they were genuinely freaked out, but for the most part it I would not be surprised that the vast majority of gun sales were in fact for hunting, and correlate with seasonal gun sales in the past. People like finding stories where they don't exist, and they get bonus points if they somehow, through their loud and publicly broadcast stupidity, get people do the things they're afraid of.

No, these guys are wrong. gun sales increased around the election because hunting season usually, at least in Michigan, in November. For example, in November this year hunting season starts on the following dates: Wisconsin starts on the 19th of November; New Hampshire's Deer/ regular firearms; Ohio various game seasons start on November 4th and 10th. They Are fucking taking this way out of context, using strung to gather sentence frags and people they seem to have hired to speak.

Well you guys are lucky in New Zealand it sucks you aint allowed any guns unless you have an Arms license and if you do you can still only buy a shotgun or a 308 or 22 riffle so we are stuffed here the cops have guns but have to sign a form in order to get them out of the back of there cop cars to use them they aint allowed to carry guns on them only tazers and batons

@Barfly1911 To be clear you did not ask me what my position was, but since you want to know. I am a fiscal conservative, social moderate. I feel any law abiding citizen owning firearms is fine. Whether it's for hunting, or just a hobby. I do not think limiting firearms deters crime. In England people get murdered too, and they have very strict firearm laws. Military grade is different though, but we should be able to have whatever the cops can carry on the streets. Including SWAT.
