http://u-turnusa.com Powered Paragliding Beach Blast 2009 in Panama City Beach Florida was a huge hit. Paramotor expert SUPERDELL took about 15 people tandem including some elderly and up to 250 lb guys. With the Flat Top EVO and the extra large Obsession II paraglider it made for super easy tandems. On landing it is fairly common for people to just sit down. As you come in to land at speeds faster than they can run they tend to plant their feet and forget to start running as soon as you slow to touchdown. It takes an expert pilot to be prepared for this and to compensate to ensure their safety. Tandem flight is for super advanced P4 pilots with T3 tandem instructor ratings and BFI or AFI certifications. The Flat Top paramotors are by far the best units for tandem because they are the most powerful on the market by a huge margin as well as they are the only paramotoring units up to date with all the latest safety designs. In fact the Flat Top is the only unit that passes all WPSDA safety certifications.

At the end of the video you see SUPERDELL then flying the 11sm Morpheus acro glider. Only a couple people in the world have flown this glider but he is the only one throwing it around and doing loops. This is extremely dangerous and should not be attempted. If you don't make it over the top and fall into your glider you would be in a world of hurt. Please don't try on your own what you see master pilots making to look easy.

Paramotoring is an incredible sport if you get the proper equipment and training. Seek out a world class USHPA certified instructor that will take their time to really help you master all the necessary skills. Beware of the USPPA, it is only different from the USHPA by one letter and it is a total scam. Almost 100% of the serious injuries & deaths in the USA are because of self training or totally incompetent pilots claiming to be "usppa" certified that completely deceive people into thinking they are real instructors. Stay away from ANYTHING usppa as your life DOES depend on it. They even make their own books and video pretending to actually know what they are doing. It is a very deceptive scam so be very careful to stay clear. The USHPA has been around for over 40 years and 100% of the best pilots in the USA are USHPA certified. It is very important that this vast knowledge base gets handed down from generation to generation or the horrible safety record from the 1970s will be repeated all over again like you see in the usppa. Do it right, get the very best equipment and USHPA certified instruction. United States Hang Gliding And Paragliding Association (USHPA). If you have any questions about how to get started the right way you can actually call the pilot in this video at 800-707-2525. Ask for SUPERDELL. He designs all the top equipment in the industry and is always happy to help people get pointed in the right direction.

Good luck and HAPPY FLYING!! YEEEEHAAAAA!!!!

  • That's an 11sm U-Turn Morpheus. SUPERDELL is the only pilot in the world who you will see looping one at will on a paramotor lol.

  • i see you fly in a lot of places how do you know if the place where you fly its ok to fly ?i live in las vegas NV and dont see any one ever fly in town only see them fly 40 min out of town.

  • Vegas is an awesome place to fly. Redrock is sweet and all over down there is really cool. Give me a call and I can get you flying. 800-707-2525 Dell

  • Great job!!!! What was the gliders you did fly? And sizes?

    First was XL Obsession?

    And Second Acro?

  • Yes the XL Obsession is what I did about 15 tandems with that afternoon including one guy that was 250 lbs. The acro glider was the 11sm Morpheus from U-Turn. Fun stuff! That XL Obsession just rocks for tandem flight. Very slick.

  • I´d love to do that :)

  • Been looking at most of your videos and not sure how I missed this one lol. Great work.

  • The first tandem passenger was the man who started American Classifieds and the Thrifty Nickel. The second gentleman was a guy who had never flown in anything he was 82 years old and told me he was amazed watching us fly around. I asked Dell if would would take this gentleman up and just like every other time I asked Dell for something at Beach Blast he said no problem. Thanks again Dell for being such a valuable asset at Beach Blast 2009.

  • Naw they do that too. You just hit the brakes and stop. No biggie for an experienced pilot with the right equipment like in this video. The tandem spreader bars are very well designed so the passenger can fall down without taking the pilot with them. Tons of work went into getting that system just perfect. Only 3 of the 15 people that afternoon fell down. The way you come skimming along the ground before you slow down throws people off and it is a natural tendency to want to sit.
