  • Maggie is what local government is about; she embodies the essence of activism which is key in working on the local level and I would argue that she makes Tocqueville proud. Furthermore, her demand for transparency of government keeps the political system of Encinitas moving forward. I hope that her example is one that inspires others to follow in her footsteps and fight for what is right in government. I know I will.
