135 gal discus community tank, 75 gal sump.
The video was taken at 12:30am and everyone is either sleeping or very grumpy. The lights were on because an ill-matched discus pair decided to spawn in the display (the spawning tank is full) and is still guarding the eggs.
This is one week after all of the plants were cut right back .

Sooo sick. I love that you worked with the whole tank. One suggestion. Cuz I guess that's what this whole YouTube comment bullshit is kinda about. Darken up the background so it makes your plants and fish stand out more. Keep up the good aquatic work. :)

Great tank. I really like the look of all the different plants that you have. I have been considering going all planted with sand for my 25g platy tank for sometime now.

what kinds of aquatic plants are good for a 40gal amazon set up &grow fast? What kind of lighting are you useing?

Thank you! Normally the lights go off at 9:30, so when the lights are still on after midnight, combined with being crammed into the corner by the spawning pair, no one was very happy!
I will hopefully be putting up a new video of the tank - with a better trim job - shortly. All of the plants got a brutal buzz cut to take plants to auction :)
