Sad people,sad lives - they are everywhere, we have an old fart whose elected himself ''Director'' of the residents association and is now in charge of the weedkiller...... surely there must be something useful these pensioners could be doing, are their lives just so empty that annoying their neighbours and roadusers is all they've got to look forward to???

How bored can you be..? Get a life and a hobby you sad creatures.Although I have neighours like them,too much time on their hands and probably too much money but nothing to spend it on.I'll cary on building my 'Rat Rod',riding my vintage bikes,competing in car trials,shooting,boating,cyclin­g etc...How can people be so BORED..?

Sad? I'll tell you what's sad. Last year over 700 pedestrians were killed by speeding motorists. Irresponsible people making comments below need to grow up. Speedwatch volunteers aren't just OAPs everyone takes part e.g. young professionals and single mothers. We are people who feel that the police don't have time to prevent people from speeding through our villages and want to change people's attitudes and raise awareness. Most importantly we aim to stop our kids getting killed or injured.

I drove past one of these little set ups while I was out along country roads, I just laughed my ass off as I drove past at my previosu speed =P
