hey just looking at your videos, i had the same operation as you in the UK under the National Health Service (NHS). My jaw had the opposite problem with an overjet on the upper jaw. It has been 16 days since I had my surgery now and I am resting off work on a liquid diet waiting for the swelling and pain ro reduce and my jaw to heal so i can eat solid food again!! how long did it take you to be able to eat again??

Oh yeah it was, but with the results I think I'd do it over again; knock on wood. Good luck with your recovery. I found sleeping with the aching to get better around day 11 or so, hang in there

looks like it hurts like hell,
im getting orthognathic surgery soon and i have a couple questions if you wouldnt mind
how much is the total cost of the procedure?
and
did insurance cover some of the costs?
wish you the best of luck

Not sure how much is covered by the insurance... i think it covers 80% of the total cost. It's about a 38-42k surgery. The first 3 days are the worst by far. I'm on day four right now and I'm feeling much better then i was last night. Swelling is to a minimum. If you have any more questions don't be shy to ask :)
