Hot Cities 1 - Lagos Immigration Congestion 1 - BBC Environmental Documentary, recorded 24.10.2009

"Bursting at the Seams" -- With over-flowing populations the worlds biggest cities are on the front line of the relentless advance of climate change. How will megacities cope? Lagos is one of the toughest and fastest growing megacities in the world and a place very vulnerable to the threat of climate change. Large areas of the Lagos metropolis could be swamped by sea level rises, while the city remains a magnet for migrants. BBC Report recorded on 24.10.2009.

  • I know it looks depressing ... But I promise to upload more positve outlooks

  • i love lagos

  • @jayeeGrind > I think it has great potential in West Africa & as such Globally. But lets not kid ourselves, most documentaries I've seen (maybe biased, as mostly via UK BBC, but still informative) show numerous big problems that are all infrastructural, Traffic, water, energy supply, education, etc. I hope Lagos solves these problems at lightspeed. A pity I cannot post a great series "My Country Nigeria", there is a Copyright on it.. Keep loving Lagos, Ultimately it is love that counts most...
