Jan Magnussen Attacks the Nurburgring in a Corvette ZR1. Unfortuantely, this was a day that the 'ring was open to the public and traffic slowed down the 638 hp Corvette several times. Still, a great way to see how a professional race car driver attacks one of the most difficult road courses in the world.

  • Magnussen is a f...ing road going danish viking!

  • I know Jan is knowing what he is doing but if i was in the passenger seat i would be screaming like a nineteen year old cheerleader..... Big Mac your the man. you are for sure one of the best racing drivers in the world winning in every car you have been driven whith except of the stewart ford f1. Don´t blame you on that one they blew up more than a suicide bomber horny for 72 virgins.

  • LOVE IT. AWESOME CAR WITH A AWESOME DRIVER!!

  • @vagonen It depends on what we are talking about, if we look only at their achievements in their carieer the image is clear. If it's touring cars, Tom is by far the best driver. If it's single-seaters, Jan is the best of the two. If it's prototypes, Tom is the undisputed best driver ever. The major difference is that Tom can drive a car fast and consistently over a long periode of time. Jan is much more aggressive, and has a tendency to overdrive the car. Danish Senna and Prost actually

  • I liked how he overtook everything that moved

  • @hitman89141 I hope u do know that he is a professional race car driver, specifically a Le Mans driver. type the times in the video where he missed his marks. I cant find any.

  • @TheStockCarStig : yeah right... look for example at Flugplatz, there is one spot where you can see he is just no ring expert. Same goes for Ex-Mühle, Pflanzgarten, you name it. Subtle differences, but they stack up over 13 miles, believe me.

  • @TheStockCarStig : he is, but there are people with over 15.000 laps experience on the ring, how do you want Magnussen to make up for that? There is no higher advantage like track knowledge in motor racing. Let there be 3 drops of rain on the track and the Ring specialists will be over 10 seconds a lap faster. No offense at all it's just true. In return, Magnussen would slaughter them at Le Mans or on his home track in America...

  • @TheStockCarStig : of course he does, but especially at the ring, there are lots of mean surface changes and blind corners, that you can take at insane speed. Therefore, the ring is a real track for local specialists (e.g. Sabine Schmitz, brilliant at the ring, quite slow anywhere else). Jan Magnussen is a great great driver, but he is not a ring specialist. No offense at all, I wish I was 1/10 as good, but he cannot beat someone who has more than 10.000 more nurburgring laps...

  • He attacked the heck out of that course!!! Usually its the driver thats scared of the track but the Nurburg was the one who crapped their pants!!

  • @hitman89141 I dont know about that, hes looks like hes hitting all his marks

  • Uden tvivl danmarks bedste kører nogensinde.. Ja, også bedre end Tom K...!
