for some reason this song just helps emphasize the overall silliness of the movie

  • This is just weird. Honestly, if you wanted to set a song to this that would contrast, Let The Bodies Hit The Floor by Drowning Pool would be better. Besides, why contradict such madness?

    The Phantom

  • @ninjadarthjuju117 What? I didn't want to contrast, I wanted to emphasise

  • lol great movie but the book was way better (in my opinion)

  • it's no contest really

  • The movie was a little weak, because they cut too much from the book! And the only part in the movie that was actually funny was when Marvin spoke, but then, that it's always funny. Plus Ford and Zeephod are crapy as aliens. Liked better the actors for arthur and Trillian though!

  • this actually not based on the book but on a screenplay Douglas Adams wrote before he died

  • I think they're all just angry because they don't have digital watches. Or towels.

  • The thing i loved about the book was that it was this excellent satire on western philosophy, not to say that the movie ruined, rather affirmed it, but the general public doesn't quite "get it"

  • Damn, I love this movie!

  • my favourite movie ever =D

its like the best and the worse movie ever at the same time O_o

  • @DRaKe6900 exactly, and I wish more of the purists UNDERSTOOD that fact and looked at it as his last work and appreciate it for THAT instead of bashing it like it was somebody else cutting up his work, when Douglas was the one that cut it for the sake of the movie and other reasons he had.

  • hahahaha....i really have to see this movie !!!

  • @DRaKe6900 Mr. Adams always changed things for the different mediums and added stuff. He never believed a BOOK could be literally translated into a movie. I agree. This movie was great and the lack of more is a shame.
