Yes I have Years ago I used to run my layout around the 1967 to 70 period and then along came the intercity 125 and I went modern image buying in lots of new diesel locos but I still kept the steam and run a few on specials The last one I bought is a Bachmann Evening Star It is not DCC fitted but I ran it the other week on a Sunday excursion

I remember seeing a train like this many years ago and as I had 18 wagons with no load decided to fill them up and recreate that memory. I always liked these Fordson tractors The farm opposite our house used to run one

Yea I would have prefered something a bit more modern but the wagons come in pairs with 8 of thenm so it would be expensive to replace them all with another Ford from the late 70's. The trains used to run from Fords with either 20 or 24 wagons I bought 10 pairs and loaded them from the front hence the empties on the back Sometimes they would drop off a part load en route anyway so that is OK. Also we used to see what we thought may be cars being returned often on the top deck right at the back
