Toscanini's concertmaster, Mischa Mischakoff, performs at age 75, the 3rd movement of the Bruch Violin Concerto in G minor. This is one of the few stereo recordings of him made with a reel to reel Sony machine.

  • I was researching the violin and found its great player. And so it is now the 1714 Adam, ex-Mischakoff Stradivari #1383.

  • Of course Toscanini should'nt have a less talented violinist as Mischa Mischakoff!!

A Great Conductor with a Great violinist!!

  • Mischakoff is my violin "grandfather". My teacher studied with Mischakoff, Galamian, and Gingold! Mischakoff is definitely one of the great violinist of the 20th century!
