I have the heated mat with a tray and dome.I use Rapid Rooter start plugs.All i do is push my seed into one of the plugs wet it realy good.Keep the dome covered till i see sprouts.Then i put them under light 20 hrs a day.Then transfer them into my hydroponic system.Great way to get going.No need to wet paper towels and crap.
