This is a close stereo mic recording of the exhaust system where high resolution, directional microphones are centered and aimed directly at the tips from 18" away.

You will notice the microphone is sensitive enough to pick up the subtle details such as gravel noise, road texture or even the license plate frame occasionally rattling.

The 370Z starts driving down the road quietly but as soon as it is down shifted and slammed WOT it opens up with. No rasp and no drone.

@wagaiznogoud Its not raspy but the microphone sounds like it may be overdriven... probably should have been a little further away from the exhaust tip.

i saw a video of the new exhaust, it sounded good to me i guess it was the mic. Would be nice if you guys uploaded a sound comparison with the stock vs exhaust vs exhaust + artpipes.

@Motordyne after currently having a 370z, and listening to a lot of exhaust vids, and hearing many different ones in person, this is by far the best sounding z exhaust i have heard!
