President of Somalia elected: Sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed

President of Somalia has been elected by the Somali government on 30/31 January 2009 in Djibouti with witness of IGAD and international community to see the election ran smoothly.
Sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmed has undesputedly won the election with majority of the vote and his competitor was siad barre's son.
He gave a great short speech on somalia's future to internal and external peace.
The president will be sworen in on 31st january 2009 and then will have a conference with IGAD & African Union.
The tyrannical puppet government has lost and the voice of the Somali people has been heard for change, towards shariah the most just law system.
We hope and pray this event changes the course of many years of civil war into an age of light for Somalia. ameen.

Salaamu Alaikum to all, I do not have any views about Sheikh Sharif or Al Shabab currently. As one has to be there and experience the situation to actually take sides. I will not just listen to peoples views or the media. Most of us who are outside somalia cannot criticise anyone in terms of politics. When it comes to conduct and obvious wrong doing then one can speak against it. Thats all I have to say. Peace.
