In Ca , hospitals were closing DOWN , because the law says U cannot turn away anyone that walkes into a hospital. Millions of visits by illegals walking into a hospital for no more than a child with a cold. They did not have health care , dummy.

When caught the FIRST time, illegals should be deported. Caught the SECOND time, they should do some serious hard time in a federal prison, THEN be deported after that. PLUS the grand, fantastic, country of their origin, should be made financially responsible for the care and upkeep of their citizen(s) after sentencing AND pay for their transport back to their oun country.

But as you say, easier said than done.
