Rube Goldberg Voting Machine

This is a video of a Rube Goldberg ballot-casting machine with an entertainment theme. My Jac-Cen-Del High School team made it in 2004. This machine received 4th place in the National High School Rube Goldberg Competition. We were actually graded down for using so much technology, as some of the judges thought it was too technical. They were right to do so, as so much technology is not in the true Rube Goldberg spirit (you never saw a microcontroller in one of his cartoons). We are still glad we did it the way we did.

Thanks for the complement! I have some video of it somewhere going through the motions in one shot. However, you cannot tell what is going on nearly as well as you can with each step filmed by itself. I plan to post the video of it completing in one shot (and other videos) soon.
