Another difference was that Castro would put in place one of the most powerful governments (over the people) and one that made every cuban a slave to the government.

hi Michaelobos
Sometimes he will plug a sponsor for 30 or so seconds at the beginning and end of the video.
I think he charges 3 cents per hit that is made in the first week of initial posting. I doubt it comes close to covering his expenses.
I think that's why he say its a volunteer effort, "for the most part".

Soooooooooooo, who is paying you ? In the most part? are you in the most part? IRS

Also, I have to say it's nice to be posting on the Ridley Report again. Today I got another lesson in "why you shouldn't bother posting commentary on a right wingnut's video 101."
The first lesson is that they will censor you if you disagree with them. It has happened many times to me, and I am not even particularly vulgar.
They just can't handle my version of "the truth."
So while I don't always agree with you, I appreciate the fact that you do not practice censorship here.

Interesting theory Dave and in fact, I'm inclined to agree with you.
Voluntary activity may be more sustainable than an activity induced by wages, or compensation of some sort.
While in your example the wages were being paid to the army by the government, if the wages were instead being paid by a private entity (Blackwater for example) would the same hold true?

I miss the squirrel and deer videos.

This title is more appealing than "Michael Corleone on the FSP".
