That IS a Castle Castings siren in the photos/video,
but that sound recording is actually a 1940s vintage Carter/Gents siren, which were the Castles' predecessor- with larger motor and a very slightly different tone, although the same 10/12 port ratio and pitch.
The Castle siren was common during the later Cold-war period and used as a nuclear warning siren until early 1990s
I believe this exact recording is the one which regularly featured in the BBCs "Dads Army" series...
