I didn't see the full episode, only the YouTube clip of her portion, but based on comments from the judges, it seems ALL the prior contestants stunk so they were expecting her to stink, too. The fact that she is not young or a visual knock-out didn't help the audiences' (or judges') expectations. I think that's why it was as much of a shock as it was. I wish her well!
