Well I agree, the us is a professional army much like any other (albeit too gung ho for my liking).

However failure in iraq stems not from the army, but failure of leadership.

half a million iraqis have died cos of the US hostilities vs iraq. You CHOSE the gov. that started this war. Of those half million iraqis, about 1/4million died from loss of infra structure, 1/8 million killed by us troops, and the same no. again killed by insurgents/ loss of law n order. Most of the half million dead will have been innocent civies. U should feel guilty cos u r directly (if partially) responsible.

Seeing all these names is tough, but the most sobering part of this is seeing the ages. So many 18, 19, 20 year old kids who had their whole lives ahead of them.
