I recently came across this lost "poor quailty" video footage of the Last Irish Night at the now closed Guinan's in Philipstown, NY on 1-24-2008. Although the first 10 years I lived in the area, I would visit Guinan's fairly frequently...especially when I commuted to NYC...I only discovered "Irish Night," towards the end...I'm sorry for that.
Guinan's was the very definition of Community. It's been over a year and a half since Guinan's closed and there has a been a "marked," change in the area....and most would agree...that it has absolutely not been a change for the better.
