John Prescott expenses scandal - BBC Look North TV report May 2009

Peter Levy reports that John Prescott claims expenses for repairing his home in Hull. He did it by claiming that his family home in East Hull was his 'second home'. At the same time he was living in his 'grace and favour' Deputy Prime Minister's home in London. This report by BBC Look North in Yorkshire really hits the nail on the head. Prescott went as far as to claim reimbursement for toilet seat repairs and pieces of 'mock tudor facade' for the front of his home in Hull. Prescott always bangs on about 'social justice' and I think the time has come for him to receive some.
