My dog Dante' has a secret shame....

...He likes to smell girly. He loves the smell of deodorants, just about anything that's perfumed, and the smell of my hair just after it's been washed. Not that he wouldn't love to take a nice roll in a pile of manure (and he has) - he is a dog after all, but he just can't resist a good scent.

It took some effort to capture this footage - if Dante' thinks people are watching him he's not quite as enthusiastic. - I mean, he didn't even jump up on the counter once while the cameras were rolling.

Dante is an 8 1/2 year old Redbone Walker Coonhound mix, we've had him since he was a puppy. He loves people food, taking naps on the couch, and going for walks. Dante' is terrified of lightening - at three AM when the bed starts to shake and a 130 pound dog tries to burry himself in my chest - I'm not such a big fan of lightening myself...
