The family house in Jindalee (Lanena Street) has been completely flooded. The water began to enter the property at 3am. By 8am the water was at chest height. The water level is expected to continue to rise further. This has been my home for the majority of my life. It has seen many great times and happy memories for my self, my family and my friends.
Oh my god !!!

@humpmasterflex3 there won't be any crocs in this water. bull sharks possibly though. Went out and volunteered today with a huge amount of brisbanites and the devastation everywhere is unbelievable. Completely gutting the insides of peoples houses apart and throwing their lives on the sidewalk outside to be picked up. That doesn't include the amounts of mud and the stench left behind.

There's a funny feeling to this video. Like a calm acceptance mingled with awe. You can hear magpies and lorikeets. If it wasn't for the water it would of been any old ordinary day.

If this is Lanena I'm guessing there is little hope for my house on Mt Ommaney Drive? Can't get to it.
