I'm confused. #2 Are you saying that Stephanie Meyer is exempt from responsibility for her opinions and what she writes? Parents shouldn't always limit what their children can or can't read or see, because not only is that totalitarian, it inevitably allows children to grow up ignorant and narrow minded. Stephanie Meyer needs to take responsibility for what she said.

Ugh, are all my fellow women hypocrites? We always complain how we are sexualized and how men always want us to be Maxim models, when we make crap like Twilight and always expect men to be perfect Greek gods. And the whole " we are stereotyped" argument is invalid because men are stereotyped as slobs or male models.

In Snow White's defense, the movie was made back in the 1930's, when women staying at home to cook and clean wasn't as big of a deal. It was still a good movie, and I watched it all the time when I was little. It didn't teach me that because i'm a girl i have to cook and clean. It tuaght me not to take apples from old women. :3
