you use the mine thrower and other nice weapons quite liberally! i got thru the bridge with a LOT of the Punisher and an occasional shotgun. but that's just me because i like to use martial arts instead of ammo. i end up knocking down a lot of people with a simple headshot and kick.
i can't wait till my next playthrough to use the super handgun. headshots galore!

i didnt have the mine thrower but i made use of the rifle and shotgun.Plus i got some magnum ammo to boot!Should i be saving up my healths or grenades etc? for some boss or certain situation ahead?

Always save Magnum Ammo for bosses. I would also recommend saving Rifle ammo for the Regenerators and for chapter 5-4. I only use Grenades when I have to. As for Health items, it depends on how much you get hit :P
