Vinnies Walk a Mile Shoes in South Australia

The right to education is a basic human right. There are young people in Australian schools who don't have adequate shoes and this means they can't participate at school in the same way. Perhaps they can't join in a game of soccer. Maybe their feet are so cold they can't concentrate. St Vincent de Paul Society is always looking for new ways to engage people in assisting others.

In South Australia, students collect and clean spare shoes from their families and Vinnies Education takes them to the schools where they are most needed delivers them to the local Vinnies store. It's such a little thing but it makes a difference.
