@spin103 Finally someone else has noticed this. John got his dates way out of whack here, the shaving off of the moe would of been 1992 and after. I think they just choose dates to suit themselves.

By chance did you keep your ticket stubb? Curious as to what the ticket cost was nearly 20 years ago. Wonder if the shorter duration Melbourne promo show got charged the same amount? And Steve Vizard - our very own poor mans Will Ferrell!!!

@thedys70 well remembered! they claimed the melbourne gig was only a promo set, not a full concert, but there was a lot of bad publicity. so we were a bit nervous before the adelaide gig. after about 10 mins of the gig they pretended that they were done and began to walk off. it got a huge laugh, everyone relaxed and the rest of the concert was superb. even now one of the most inspirational gigs i've ever been to.

@hogberto - IIRC, did Daryl Hall and John Oates australian tour of this era get a bad review from Melbourne for not performing long enough in concert? I remember somebody writing into the Herlad-Sun to complain about lack of value for money, claiming [perhaps] 45 minutes only plus encore? Venue would have been Flinders Park [Rod Laver Arena, or whatever it was called at the time]. Wish i had seen them on this tour. Bugger.
