You can get running shoes with the wheels that popout so you can coast while you rest. that's not cheating.

They should all be tracked by gps so the officials know where they've been lol. What do they get out of cheating? OK for a minute everyone is cheering because they did so well, but then they are forgotten about and they will always know they didn't really do it.
