  • What nation are these packs produced?

  • @Beachcrib I think the us but I'm not 100%

  • Great review!

Do you think this pack would be suitable for running with or do you think it might be too large?

  • @MrJonagikster I think it would be a great running bag. I never noticed my elbows hitting the bag when moving around while hiking. The bag stays dead center on the back, especially with the waist strap attached. The only issue for me is the that the waist strap is a little high on the torso but I guess that comes with the size of the pack. Also I'm 6' 3" about 170lbs, so I'm fairly tall.

  • You think I could use this for high school. I just carry two notebooks, two folders, and a lunch paper bag. No big textbooks. I just wanna be in class and be sippin water from it, but it might also double as something I'll use for airsoft, that's why I want the military version.

  • @T9w0rd I don't think it would be a great book bag, per se. But if you were only keeping one or two notebooks and maybe a book, much more than that your going to have fit issues. It will look cool though in class, ha!

  • Navy seals use the HAWG for lightweight missions.

  • @MrJonagikster i bought this bag for my brother. he uses the pack on weekend hikes in the phx area. he most recently used the pack on a grand canyon rim to rim 24 mile run. i loved the pack! he packed light and was able to use the compression straps on the side to tighen down. the insulation sleeve for the hose is nice. lots of room and pockets. the pack fit firmly on his back and shoulders. he is 5'9" and about 180 pounds. HE LOVES IT!

  • I think the loops inside the main compartment can be used to attach a Camelbak "un-bottle" to. It has hooks on either side with metal clips to stop it slipping off.

  • is this hawg 500 ? cause to be honest it feels different material with the black one , the black hawg that i bought more hard the material , but this 500 foliage is more soft and the material is a lil bit easy to rip off ,am i right ?
