  • At the time of the 1999 Musharraf coup in Pakistan, George Galloway wrote,

"In poor third world countries like Pakistan, politics is too important to be left to petty squabbling politicians. Pakistan is always on the brink of breaking apart into its widely disparate components. Only the armed forces can really be counted on to hold such a country together"

Thank you to Nadkad121 for giving this opportunity to expose George Galloway's dispicable hypocrisy.

  • Pakistan, is not ready for an out right democracy. marshal law may help stabilize the situation until the corrupt and terrorist groups are wiped off the political spectrum in the country. This will ofcourse need sacrifice but the poeple don't seem to want to give the sacrifice. (its why they got frustrated at musharaff's rule)

  • @yington

What Galloway forgets is that even when civilian political parties are in power, the military still runs the country.

  • He was stating that Pakistan requires a dictatorship, and hence approving of the Musharraf coup.

And then suddenly years later he pretends he supported democracy.

    You idiot.

  • bush is a faggot and he admitted he was a crusade, but them fags lost the last time they came, and it'll happen again. just because they made it to the euphrates, doesn;t mean they'll stay there.

    !لا استسلام ، لا استسلام

  • @yington he was describing, not approving you idiot! america is at fault fornot supporting non democracies and causing the situation he DESCRIBED

Are you stupid ? Can you not do your own research without your hand being held ?

Go on George Galloway's wikipedia page, scroll down to where it discusses his thoughts on Pakistan. There is a link to a reference on there. I'ld put it here, but you can't paste links.

Alongside that, just googling it would bring you multiple references.

Once again, thanks for the great opportunity to expose GG's hypocrisy, even if you are to dim to realise it.

    Regards.

  • offcourse we would object to anyone speaking against our 'urdu' speaking DICKtator. But i for one, would like to see the whole lot (dead or alive) dicks to be publicly shamed/humiliated for all their crimes. List starting Ayub khan and ending with the latest ill aspected dog musharraf!! They should all be tried, yahyah and zia for letting pakistan become a war zone for foreign countries and keeping the fundamental rights of pakistanis suspended. They are all a shame to Pakistan!!

  • I do not agree with Mr Galloway...Pakistan has a society of its own....Mr Galloway don't know the basic issues of Pakistan...he is explaining the third world issues to the first world.....Pakistan has a feudal democracy since independence and General Musharraf is far better then these Feudal Politions...May be he is not good in the eyes of so called Democratic Countries but as a Sensible Pakistani I like Pervaiz Musharraf as so called General.
