it's not about being afraid of change. hip hop belongs to and comes from the streets. it's definitely a good look to diversify and give other points of view so that the different classes and cultures of people can see that the genre is limitless. but when u stop promoting the street variety o hip hop, your contributions lose their integrity. let's not forget that hip hop started out as a rebellion from other forms of music . artists have to be careful and not reassimilate.
