step 1: lay a full oxygen tank on the ground.
step 2: scatter a large amount of corn around it.
step 3: wait for pigs
step 4: once pigs show up, shoot the tank. kill survivors. problem solved.

I'm from North Alabama and yes they are a huge problem here. They destroy habitat by rooting into the ground. You can tell where they have been, because it will be a huge mud hole. They are omnivores, so they eat anything and everything they come across. They are agressive and chase out native wildlife, such as deer and wild turkey. They breed like crazy, so they will never be eradicated. They do, however have to be controlled, so many states have no close season on them. I have hunted them.

Yup. Huge problem in many parts of the country. They are an introduced species. They ruin the land, breed like crazy, and are dangerous. Need to be hunting them down.
