as of May 2008 ebay sellers can no longer leave negative feedback for non paying bidders, yet these non paying bidders can leave negative feedback for honest sellers

  • well good because when i pay really fast and the seller takes a long time shipping...i leave a negative...then the seller will leave a negative feedback as well although i didn't do anything wrong...thats why they changed it...

    You're probably one of those people who wait for the buyers to leave feedbacks and give them negative feedbacks when they do even if it's not the buyer's fault

  • Unpaid item strike is more than enough to damage the buyer's reputation. Plus if there's no payment sent... U as a seller can dispute that.

  • I do not like Ebay's seller feedback policy!!! Arrrrggghhhh!

  • What the F@#$ You power sellers and your greed have pushed the average small seller off of ebay. So I think that the feedback issue is par for the course. I mean it's not like you buyers ever screw the sellers right? And some people run into problems and may not be able to pay, such as job loss, or unexpected other bills. But I have the answer for you, stop crying and leave Ebay.

  • love your spunk, i am a long time seller of 11 yrs on ebay and now everytime i list a item that is expensive i get a bidder, and a payer, but then they claim crazy things like it's not real on jewelry which it was, guess what i refuned and never got my merchandise back happed 3 times in one month what do i do, i haven't got a negitive actually no feedback i believe is if i say something they then will hit me with a neg, i am being blackmailed help

  • eBay just kicked me down the stairs like a rusty old bucket. I called the customer support line and they said there is no way to appeal this case due to low DSR's last 12 months. I have a feedback rating over 98%. I shipped hundreds of items every month. I had a storage unit to support the operation and a few employees. They out of the blue suspended me and said its because of low dsr's no other reason. screw eBay and this cold-blood moronic feedback system.. I had a good business.

  • Let me tell you why this is good for buyers, Once the item has been paid for, it is up to the seller to leave feedback and if the money was received with no hitch, why wouldn't you immediately leave feedback? as a buyer I must wait and see that the item comes, and is as described before leaving feedback ! this is how it should be! sellers should not wait to get feed back from buyers before leaving feed back!

  • @BigaznPARK - BUT- say your the seller, someone buys and does not pay- or they pay- recieve the item, then do a fraudulant chargeback & claim non reciept, even if you have proof that it was delivered....THEN THEY LEAVE YOU NEGATIVE FEEDBACK!!!! I have had this happen!! So, you are out the listing and final value fee, your out your item, and out the money owed you, AND YOU CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!!!! Does that seem fair to you? That is EXACTLY what is happening to people, and e-bay is of no help.
