Part 1 - In this video you will see how to predict the products of double replacement reactions. Some of the reactions will never occur because there may not be driving forces (i.e. formation of a precipitate, formation of a gas, production of heat, etc). However, they are good practice in what I call "switch partners and dance". My method relies on what I call the "criss-cross" , where the charge of one ion is used as the subscript of the other ion in the same molecule. After creating correct products, then we balance the reactions.
