I think a reason why Catholicism isn't working today and it is in crisis is because there is a lack of belief in the Gospel itself.

@bigblondman1 I know in my heart that the sincere Catholics accept the body of Christ and His Blood as an the supreme gift. His live for them. But the doctrine of transubstantiation is not biblical. And it is wrong.

those people are denying the very scripture they claim has revealed the truth to them. read gospel pf john,chap.6,54-60. that clearly states salvation by faith in the eucharist. Jesus said, "this is my body and my blood". the catholic church merely reenforces His words at every mass. the preist at every mass is invoking Jesus, to tranfsorm the bread and wine to His body and blood. the preist is not performing some type of magic.. only the staunch, anti-catholics prefer to see it that way.
