I can identify more with Jason's killings than Freddy's. Jason does his for revenge, which is identifiable with most people in the world. Who wouldn't want to get back at someone in the worst way after they did something to you? Freddy likes to mind-rape his victims to death. Jason is to the point about his kills. Just puts you out for good. Doesn't make you suffer, just straight out kills you.
