Very loose on the starting line at KID. Even the camera man was getting the heck out. The track was very slick all day for me. This pass rendered a mid 11 second et with 152 mph.

  • Just noticed the cherry on that run, maybe the left leap was your reward for being a bit eager?? lol.

Hows it going, you out much?

I've stopped running the 240 now, 7.8 @ 177 in that short thing with a street cage is quick enough for me, lol.

Motor is going in a 800kg dragster now so that should be fun,

    Robbie.

  • LOL, Those reds are bad. Thank goodness it was just a time trial. I cannot imagine what 7's, in the upper 170's would be like in my car. And I have a full cage!. Hoping to get out soon, My goal has always been the 8.9 range, but you know how that goes...LOL

  • Sorry to see you retire My sister Z. Maybe you could put the ole small block back in her so I could keep up. LOL

I have ordered a rear small rear spoiler for the car, the big rear wing just dont do it for me with all the street cruising I like to do. I think the car has some 8.60's in it If I can keep it stuck to the track. I still have it tuned on the real safe side as well. So.. what does happen now with your Z? You keeping it?

  • Good job to keep it off the wall!! love the blower whine as you go past, best of luck......

    Rob

  • Thanks Rob,

It looked a lot worse from the drivers seat, as you would well know. BTW, I caught a pic on the Hyb.Z forum. The front end looks great on your car. That was quick! Who was the magician that?

  • yeah, they are a handfull at those speeds, had a couple of close calls at over 170mph and having seen the mess even a proper tube car can be after wrecking at those speeds I've decided to get the motor into something lighter and safer and go for 6s/200.

240 is for sale complete less motor only for usd15k if you know of anyone.

Bets of luck with yours, I'll keep an eye on your video's,

    Robbie.

  • A friend of mine did the whole lot in about 4 days, he usually does harley's and custom murals etc but I think he's done a great job for his first "jappa" lol
