The Weather Channel's Mike Bettes and The Great Tornado Hunt crew were one of the first to arrive on the scene after Joplin, Missouri was struck by a violent and large tornado on the evening of May 22, 2011.
@booboo19751 I highly doubt that most hospitals when severe weather is near will move patients out into the hallways. I know they done that when I have been in the hospital before. From what I heard only victims in the hosptial were those on life support after power got knocked out and then there was a visitor who was killed. Other then that no one got sucked out the windows that I have heard of
This will keep happening and there is no malicious intent here what so ever for we "choose" this through our own designs and it is up to us to change not GOD or JESUS or BUDDHA or SATAN or any other deity. We, the human race, have the capacity to "change" but continue to blame GOD or SATAN as the outlet of our sufffering. There are many alternatives to the way we live what are your values people "lives" or "that cool house" with the plasma TV and Pool? I vote for lives.....
Yeah being angry fuels ones inspiration to find a solution, so what is your solution? Nature is nature that is all and yes lives come an go and even if they are infants but we all have " a choice" we relocate to another part of the country avoiding these awesome forms of nature or we work in harmony with the land and build something that can withstand such power. Amen

I heard rumors that patients were sucked out of the windows of the hospital by the tornado. Is there any truth to this?

Looks like the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Terrible.

Where is the video of Mike Bettes in Joplin like 5 or 10 minutes after the tornado left and then some guy gives the camera the middle finger?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
I started to lose just about all respect of Mike Bettes when I heard him talk about global warming. He sounds like an everyday Hitler.

I agree cause I believe it'll only get worse from here. To me, it's scary indeed, but also, it's a sign.
