  • What's the whole set up run roughly? A grand? Am thinking about this 150 for my next plane.

  • The motor and plane is about 1080. The rx and servos batteries were about 450.spinner about 100. on board glow for the saito 100 basically a lot of little things spent in order to finish brought it closer to 2 grand total.

  • Yikes, pricey but doable. I just put in a bit over a grand on my pulse XT25 pimping it all out so I'm looking forward to getting something together like you're set up. Very nice dude. Have you got any vid of it flying?

  • Sorry i dont have a video of it flying yet, otherwise i'd have a better video of it in here than just this one trying to tune it. If i knew before hand it would start to rack up in cost before hand i prolly wouldnt have done it. But when this thing is in the air it sounds like a dragster full bore when doing a hi speed pass, very quick and sounds sweet with the 220. there was a cop at the field once and he radar gunned it at 117 and then 122 over the strip, its an awesome plane.

  • couldnt u get a PNP 1/4 scale cub and dx7 for like 1800?

  • im not sure, though i think you can check at the hangar 9 site.

  • That Motor soundS Beautiful , very nice =)

  • Ys need more TLC, this is for sure....

Not sure what is better, it certainly depends on what you want to use it for..

    Comp....YS rules....

Sport.... Saito is much easier to keep running...

  • Nice! I love Saito. I'm planning a new build. 1/5 P51 and the new Saito gas engine. Saito+gas+electric ignition = WIN

  • plus i think if you're going with a engine this size you should go gas. it will save you tons of money on gas.

  • i have saitos as well

  • @marlscarvin, your ass hurts!!! I dumped all of my YS's for Saito. I think this video makes it painfully obvious how good Saitos run...=)

  • i think if you're going to buy a 4 stroke you should get a YS. they run better than all the others

  • DAM that sounds so good!!!
