USGP Cyclocross #3 Xilinx Cup Boulder Cross

The 2006 Xilinx Cup, the second weekend of the US GP of Cross. Held in Boulder, Colorado. November 4, Saturday. Key players are Bessette, Compton, Nash, Gould, Trebon, Wicks, Powers, Wells, Johnson. Both races decided by strong first-lap moves. With three laps to go in the men's race Wells crashed in front of Wicks, and both came off the chase group of four. Wells made it back to the group by the finish. After the race Trebon and Wicks were asked how serious an obsticle the barriers were. They replied "What barriers? I didn't notice anything out there, but I heard guys behind me jumping for some reason."
