Skyrim running on a very below minimum spec PC - Using windows XP sp2 and DX9. (Yes even on low end it will run and yes it has all the same bugs as everyone else - even the 360 version locks up!) Thanks Bethesda for a great game - NO THANKS for not having it tested properly first! -

For those who need to know the music is GORDIAN TOMB ADVENTURES by Glynn R BROWN its from the C64 remix website.

Also - This vid does have a few glitches thanks to conversion from captured AVI to MPG. It does feature the game settings LOW MED HIGH (Although the high seemingly had everything turned ON!)

Yes it is all running on the same PC too.

  • I run this game smmothly with -

    GTX 550 TI Asus Version

    6 GB DDR3 1333mhz ram

    3.0GHZ Dual core Pentium 4

    1900 x 1080 HD Resoulution Full Screen @ 44 - 60 fps

  • @24kgoldring LOL - with them machine specs I should think you can run it smooooothly!! - Wish I had a system like that. :D

  • This shouldnt work? ur an idiot

  • @Focxio Yes thats right - I may be an idiot, but at least I would not lie about the minimum specs for a game that costs millions to develop. My PC is way below the minimum spec as given by bethesda for this game therefore the game should not work on my machine - I should not be expecting to run it or be able to play it. But I can, and quite well. So thanks for being both constructive in your criticism and also wrong.

  • @Tarim06. Hi! I think it's awesome that you got skyrim to run smoothly! I don't mind low gfx at all.. I just want the game to run more smoothly. I'm a lil frustrated at this point. I have below minimum specs as well.. my specs are:

    Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU E3300 @ 2.50GHz

    2.1 GB RAM

    XP sp3

    GeForce 7050 / nForce 620i (613 mb)

my gfx card drivers are up to date. I also just installed the EMB. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks sooo much!

  • @cutiesita well if u worked out how to install the ENB patch ok then all I can suggest is what I always suggest.. take it one step at a time. Dont start by running the game at max settings with everything on at 1900x1600.. Start off running the game both full screen and windowed mode at the LOWEST resolutions until you find one thats stable. If you get low frame rates - or frame rate drops from time to time, dont worry - as thats a problem with Skyrim and not your machine! Good luck!

  • @100superbuldog Hey. 1. I'm a girl. 2. I played it quite fine! It was a bit laggy, yes BUT I played it well! :D It was great. Then I ordered it for the PS3.. Hopefully, the patches will make it fully playable.

  • @cutiesita you are crazy bro you will never play this game on your rig

  • @Tarim06 Wont tell you my specs then Mr Tarim.. :)

  • @8DomoloN8 - darn - sorry to hear that as the processor and memory should be fine to run it like I did... well at least you got a refund and im glad you did. Sorry.
