The front lever is a great core exercise. Sam does an excellent job here explaining how to achieve the front lever. A front lever is a static hold performed on rings or a bar. A front lever is performed by lowering from an inverted hang until the body is completely horizontal and straight with the front of the body facing upwards

Is that body of yours only the result of Calisthenic training, or have you been lifting weights for some time?

  • This channel is the STRAIGHT DOPE!! Thank you so much Arash and Sam!!!

  • thanks thanks thanks !!! :)

  • @respectwong

    he was a gymnast

  • Can you also do it with only one arm?

  • @surfbaybe every exercise you do on the bar are much more difficult on the rings.

  • @surfbaybe pretty much ANY exercise on rings is harder, if you learn it on rings and then go to the bar you will be perplexed how much easier it becomes all of a sudden

  • Is it much harder to do on rings because they are not static? Is the progression about the same?

  • God, it looks warm there.

  • so i just keep working on the tucked lever like that until I can do it? I was on a workout an hour ago and tried it but I couldn't do it very well. always work on pullups though so i guess I do that, and try the tucked lever once in a while?

keep posting more! you guys are beasts of muscle and its really helpfull videoes!

  • @RespectWong he´s a former gymnast when i remember right
