@NowWtfIsThis i got a powercolor 6870 a few months back but it kept giving me bsods, display driver drops, random restarts, the heap..... i got it replaced the other day and the warrenty replacement is worse, it dos all of the above + this screen mismatch in this vid and crashes constantly.... never going powercolor again.

A mon avis tes pilotes sont mal régler ou ta carte a pris un coup dans la gueule . Tu devrais la renvoyer !
La mienne arrive aujourd'hui j’espère que je n'aurais pas le même problème

ntesta I just got the same video card less than a week ago and having the exact same problems. Check my video and you can see the exact same thing happening. By the way did you ever get it fixed or figure out what was causing it? And does it always do this or just at certain times. I have been through 2 different 6870s in the past month and both either give me black screens,system freezes,random restarting and now this crazy ass split screen with horizontal lines.

@NowWtfIsThis Before installing the 6870 I had a 5770 that was overclocked using the Catalyst drivers manually, after installing the 6870 the Catalyst drivers retained the previous overclocked settings and this caused the issues displayed above.
Disabled overclocking in the Catalyst drivers solved the problem for me.
Hope you can get it sorted.
