LOL. Ernie and Bert got the right reactions to seeing a statue touch you, move around and talk to you. Yeah, I'd be literally frozen with fear if I was in museum and saw a statue came to life like that with no explanation.

I remember seeing this about 14 years ago. I wasn't scared, but I do remember by the end of the sketch I felt glued to the floor, staring at the screen. I had experienced my first "WTF did I just watch?" moment.

I liked how, after Bert thought Ernie was being ridiculous when he was scared, HE got scared himself in the end.

OMG.. this was just on TV now. I remember it scaring me as a little kid, and now my 2 year old was afraid of it. Thanks Sesame Street, scaring generations of little kids...

What were they thinking putting this on TV, at 7 years old I was scared to death by this skit. Truthfully, I am still creeped out by this even today.
