@RyanLocomo - Ecosphere shrimp are not RCS (Neocaridina heteropoda). They are Upae Ula (Halocaridina rubra) and prefer water with a little bit of sea salt. Upae Ulas are much smaller, slightly different shape, and can withstand greater environmental extremes. =)

@2213catlover Thanks. They are really happy, at night they swim around. Its really cute. I don't know how it became so clean, I just rinsed it a few times, got out any bits of seaweed lol and pic up any left over food. Thanks for watching!

OH MY GOSH! THANK GOODNESS YOU SAVED THEM! :D I have the same 1.5 gallon as you and kept shrimp in there until they upgraded to a 2.5 :D
Those shrimp are RCS (you seen my videos) and they are clear due to stress. Water changes+live plants = happy, they turn red. they will breed btw. A 1.5 is a good size for nano shrimp tank! Bravo! :D

@RyanLocomo Thanks. When I filmed this they were just introduced. I also read that males are a clearer color than females, so it seems I have a female and two males. In the future I'm going to see if i can get a larger tank, such as a three gal.
Thanks for watching!
